217. Gentleman Farmer & Wild Asparagus Cooking Demonstration & Presentation at Barrington’s White House

Barrington’s Dominic Green, “The Gentleman Farmer” will share his active role in the local food movement and how it changed his life and will benefit our community in an upcoming event at Barrington’s White House.

During the event from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 13th, Dominic will team up with Chef Jeramie Campana, proprietor of Wild Asparagus Catering WildAsparagusCatering.com to demonstrate cooking techniques for “Picks and Prep for Fresh Food from the Garden!”

“Dominic is a British farmer, artist and world traveler. He is a founding farmer of The Gentleman Farmer, an emerging sustainable farm in Barrington offering a CSA membership program, supplying farmers markets and restaurants in the Chicago area. In addition, he is a performing artist, working extensively in theatre, television and radio in London and Chicago. He spent over five years sailing and backpacking throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, North America, Asia and Australia. He currently lives in Barrington with his wife Jessica, and their two sons Henry and Oliver.”
