We stopped by Ace to chat with Weber manufacturer’s rep, Ryne Krug, who was in store assembling grills and making sure they are ready for their new homes. We grilled (sorry, had to do it) Ryne about all the latest Weber grills and must-have accessories. This grill guru has great tips to share about all the ways to make your Weber work for you all year long.

Brushing up with Accessories
To keep your grill in good working order, you’ll need to give it a good spring cleaning. Ryne Krug recommends that every grill owner purchase Weber’s Exterior Grill Cleaner, Stainless Steel Polish, and Grate Grill Cleaner to keep their grill in top form. “You need to clean your grill regularly to get good results. And a good brush is an absolute necessity – replace yours when the bristles begin to crush.” This is a great time to buy these necessities free of sales tax!
Tools & Tricks for the Grill Gourmand

Spice it Up

Ryne Krug loves to make ribs on his Weber, and he was willing to share his favorite rub recipe with 365Barrington.com readers. He says rubbing some Memphis Dust on his ribs does the trick every time – that and cooking them low and slow. Here’s the recipe:
Memphis Dust Rub
- 3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup paprika
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground ginger powder
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons rosemary powder
Mix all ingredients together, and rub approximately one tablespoon on each side of St. Louis cut ribs. Grill low and slow, then enjoy!
