We’ve compiled a list of local Halloween happenings including trick-or-treat hours and parties for kids, adults and pets PLUS safety tips for today’s NoonDaily Update, our new approach to gathering information and sharing the good things happening locally.   1. Halloween Spooktacular with the Barrington Park District | Saturday, October 29th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Children from age 1-10 with a parent are invited to come enjoy the Barrington Park District’s annual Halloween Spooktacular costume party. Click here for details.
  2. ArBOOretum Trick-or-treating | Have a de-fright-ful time at The Arboretum of South Barrington’s Arb-BOO-Retum on Sat, Oct 29. Click here for details.
  3. Trick-or-treating at the Ice House MallMonday, October 31 from Noon – 5:00 p.m. kids are invited to trick or treat at all Ice House Mall stores and bring home a Halloween craft from our Spooktacular Halloween Craft Corner. Click here for more details.
  4. Trick-or-treating at Deer Park Town Center | Saturday, October 29th, starting at Noon – Deer Park Town Center shops and restaurants will be hosting FREE Trick-or-Treating on Saturday, October 29, starting at noon, while supplies last. Look for pumpkin decals on participating stores doors or windows, and grab a complimentary treat bag at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books. Click here for more details.
  5. Halloween Weekend at the Broken Oar | It’s 4 nights of TERROR! Or should we say TERR-OAR!! Join the Broken Oar for a spooktacular weekend with 5 KILLER BANDS & ENTERTAINMENT!!   8. Mandile’s Howl-o-ween Bash | Halloween themed fundraiser for non-profit animal rescue, A Heart for Animals from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th, 2016. Co-Hosted & Held at: Mandile’s Italian Ristorante & Banquets 2160 Lake Cook Rd Algonquin, IL 60102. Everyone can participate by adding photos and updates to our NoonDaily collection one of these three ways:

  1. Facebook Mention @BarringtonIllnois in a Facebook post or publish post to our Facebook page at Facebook.com/BarringtonIllinois and your message will be featured on our NoonDaily Update Board at 365Barrington.com/NoonDaily.
  2. Instagram & Twitter Add the hashtag #365Barrington or #NoonDailyBarrington to any post on your Instagram or Twitter page and your message will also be featured with our NoonDaily updates.
