Saint Anne Parish School is a two time award winning school for Academic Excellence, having twice received the highest honor awarded by the US Department of Education. Saint Anne was named a 2016 and 2006 National Blue Ribbon School because of its academically superior performance. Only 50 non-public schools are selected every year, and it is indeed an honor and privilege to earn this award multiple times!
In addition to academic excellence, the school is proud to offer one start time on one campus for students of varying ages. Throughout the building, you will see preschool, elementary and middle school students. Siblings can be dropped off at the same building, all with the same start and end time. There is a nurturing connection between the oldest and youngest of students at Saint Anne Parish School. Each class pairs up with a buddy classroom and regularly experiences activities throughout the year. These classes also sit together at school masses.
After School Enrichment, Co-Curricular Offerings & Athletics
Much pride is exhibited through the comprehensive offerings in school and after school for children ranging from preschool through eighth grade! Here is a peek at some of the things Saint Anne students are involved in outside of regular school hours.
The commitment to the students extends well beyond tested subject areas. In Fine Arts, students can participate in band concerts, solo ensemble experiences, grade level musicals, speech contests, children’s choir, cantoring and more. Even the littlest Cardinals have the opportunity to discover their inner-artists as they showcase their pieces at the Preschool Art Fair!
Students are also afforded the opportunity to explore and develop their interests and talents in a myriad of other ways. They can participate in a variety of athletics, including cross country, basketball, track and field, volleyball, summer athletic camps, mini-dribblers, cheerleading and Girls on the Run. In addition, a wide variety of world language experiences are offered. There are many other co-curricular experiences like Chess, Sticky Fingers, Lego-Robotics, Fashion/Sewing, Camp Invention, Student Leadership, Yoga Jr., 3D Printing-Intro to Engineering, and more, that are offered throughout the course of the school year, after school and during the summer months! The school continues to vet new co-curricular organizations with the hope of improving offerings and showcasing NEW experiences.
Before and after school program / Homework Club
Saint Anne Parish School offers an affordable and flexible before and after school care program.
Extended Day Care is a before/after school program for parents to send their children so that they can engage in activities with other students as part of an extension of the school day. The program runs from 7-8 a.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. every Monday through Friday. Students ranging from age 3 to grade 8 are serviced through the extended care program. Extended Day Care is an inexpensive way for parents to have their children looked after beyond the regular school day. Affordable rates ($10/morning and $15/afternoon) and multi-student discounts are offered. A snack is provided to all students who wish to partake. There is also a period for quiet homework time with a licensed teacher in a separate room away from the students who do not have homework.
Activities range from arts and crafts, imaginative lego building, board games, and outside play. On inclement weather days, the gym may be utilized for gross motor activities. Movie Fridays and other special activities also take place.
Homework Club is an extension to Extended Day Care. Students can attend homework club on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:10 to 4:45 p.m. The students in homework club work quietly on homework, supervised by a licensed teacher. Snack is served as well. Homework club is a great way for students to stay after school and obtain help in classes for which they may need assistance. It’s a great way for students to go home with little to no homework so they can enjoy the rest of the day. The cost for homework club is $10 per session.
Homework Club Parent Testimonials
“I want to thank the Saint Anne After School Homework Club, led by Ms. Grybos. This program has helped my son learn proper ways of completing his homework and proper ways of studying for tests. We are so thankful for the homework club at St. Anne.” Mrs. Eryka Accordino – parent of a 7th grade student and preschool student
“I have two girls that attend homework club. Both of them really enjoy going, as they have the opportunity to do their homework together with their friends, and if they have a question there is a teacher in the room to ask. This service is a God send. It’s nice to pick up the kids from school, go home and make dinner knowing that homework is done…no more stressing over homework. Thanks Homework Club!!” Mrs. Hayde Federighi – parent of a 7th grade student and 5th grade student
