Win a Ride on Santa’s Fire Truck During Deer Park Town Center’s Holiday Kickoff Celebration

Know any kids who’d like to win a ride on the fire truck with Santa as he returns to Deer Park Town Center to kick off the 2017 holiday season? One lucky young winner and his or her family will win this once-in-a-lifetime experience with a front-row seat to Deer Park Town Center’s holiday festivities including Santa’s return, the annual tree lighting and fireworks coming up on Friday, November 10th!

The promotion is open to children between the ages of 5 and 12 at the time of entry. For a chance to win, entrants simply need to write a letter to Santa and drop it off in the mailbox inside the Deer Park Town Center Barnes & Noble store between November 1st and November 9th. To make entering super-easy, there’s even a letter template available at Barnes & Noble. The winner’s parent or guardian will be notified on 11/10 via telephone by 9 a.m.

All are welcome to join Deer Park Town Center’s annual holiday festivities WITH FIREWORKS as they welcome Santa along with Barrington VFW Post 7706 at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 10th. Count down with Santa as he turns on the holiday lights and enjoy a fireworks display with a finale honoring our veterans.

Deer Park Town Center’s holiday celebration has become a beloved tradition for many area families. Here’s a look at the excitement you can expect during this year’s festivities…

Santa will be available to visit with children for free photos until 8:30 p.m. Kids who visit with Santa will receive free antler headbands and a free pouch of magical reindeer food, while supplies last.

Fireworks by J&M Displays Inc. begin shortly after 6 p.m.. Be sure to arrive early as the parking lots fill up fast. The event takes place near the traffic circle. Meet Lisa Kosty and visit the WSHE 100.3FM Radio team at the event giving away prizes from 6 to 8 p.m. There will also be samples offered by KIND Snacks, while supplies last. This family favorite FREE event is proudly sponsored in part by the Village of Deer Park.

Also at Deer Park Town Center this holiday season, don’t miss your chance to donate to the Toys for Tots Collection between November 1st and December 13th because “Every child deserves a little joy!” Deer Park Town Center is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots during this period. Donations for kids of all ages are welcome at the Center Office which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and located at 20530 N. Rand Rd Suite 133 near Pier 1 Imports. Toys can be purchased at Brilliant Sky Toys & Books, Barnes & Noble and Go! Calendars, Toys and Games.

And beginning November 1st, spend $400 or more in one day at any Deer Park Town Center retailers or restaurants and receive two (2) FREE tickets to The Nutcracker on select dates (valued up to $200).

Tickets are limited! Hurry in with qualifying same-day receipts, dated November 1 or later, totaling $400 or more.
