One of my favorite December traditions is adding a new ornament to our Christmas tree every year. Maybe it’s a special memento from a trip we took or a vintage ornament that reminds me of my grandparents’ tree. The best part is watching the kids unwrap each ornament while we’re decorating, rediscovering those we added in years past.
If you’d like to find something special to add to your tree or holiday decor this year, Gwendolyn over at Paris Market Antiques recently unpacked hundreds of boxes of vintage ornaments and decor for you to choose from. They’ve set up multiple Christmas trees to help you shop their selection and have boxes upon boxes of choices in every shape, size and color.
“We have a lot of vintage German glass ornaments and many are all hand-crafted, hand-blown and hand-painted,” Gwendolyn says. “I also get into some of the plastics from the 50’s and the 60’s so there’s quite a colorful variety.”
In addition to ornaments, at Paris Market Antiques you’ll find antique and collectable Santas, snowmen, trees. angels, holiday candles and so much more.
To celebrate the season, Paris Market Antiques along with Savvy Spirit are hosting Mimosas and Mistletoe, a festive holiday shopping experience at from 3-7 every Thursday night in December. All are welcome to sip mimosas as you enjoy the spirit of the season and the fun holiday decorations at the Ice House Mall.
