The Village of Lake Barrington is pleased to welcome DIBI Menswear, a contemporary men’s fashion and accessories retailer, to its business community. The opening of this specialty retailer adds to the development of the Village’s economic development efforts and further fosters its stance as an oasis of gracious countryside living.
Owned and operated by Lake Barrington resident, Daniel Bruce Wimer, DIBI Menswear provides residents with a full line of men’s apparel and accessories for casual and formal occasions. Its opening furthers the Village’s efforts to welcome and promote its local businesses and will serve as an asset to Lake Barrington residents.

Throughout the past year Lake Barrington continued to provide a welcoming environment for businesses looking to open or relocate within its borders, even as the COVID-19 pandemic upended everyday life. In fact, Village officials took proactive steps to ease business owners’ financial burdens, including a recent grant program intended to aid restaurants and the elimination of this year’s business and liquor licensing fees.
Wimer has resided in Lake Barrington for the past five years and has a long history of working within the wholesale and retail industries. DIBI Menswear’s new location is located within a refurbished storefront on Northwest Highway.
