On this day, January 24th in 1949, John Belushi, actor and singer who played Joliet ‘Jake’ Blues in The Blues Brothers who had the 1990 UK No.12 single ‘Everybody Needs Somebody To Love’ was born! Belushi died of a drug overdose on March 5th, 1982 but his music lives on in our hearts.

Find your fellow trotters at the Citizens Park Pavilion parking lot by the entrance to Cuba Marsh at 10am this Thursday morning.
