We’ve made it! After a couple of weeks traveling around town with Cupid, he’s finally ready to reveal #1 on his Countdown to Valentine’s Day in Barrington! For this one he’s bringing us back home to Farmhouse on North. Want to feel like you’re enjoying a home cooked meal prepared by family with farm fresh ingredients? Farmhouse on North – an actual historic Barrington farmhouse – is your place.
Farmhouse owner, Meghan McGinty always dreamed of opening her own restaurant. Her grandfather’s ancestors are in the restaurant business and her grandmother’s have their roots in farming. To this day, she and her family LOVE getting together for Sunday meals, cooking together in the kitchen, then sitting down at the table to eat, reminisce, tell stories, share good food and make great memories.
It’s these experiences that inspire Megan’s seasonally changing menu at Farmhouse on North where she hopes we will come, sit and make memories together. Known for house-made food, from local farms to your table Farmhouse on North’s Valentine’s Weekend reservations filled up fast but takeout is always an option! Their special menu is priced at $47 per person (plus tax/gratuity) and is available for takeout.

As we mentioned, Farmhouse’s Valentine’s weekend reservations are booked BUT their specials are available through Saturday for Curbside Pickup. Call 847-387-3408 to place your curbside pickup order or to make a reservation for a future date.
As always, Farmhouse on North has their typical Fish Fry Fridays and enjoy their Fried Chicken special during the entire month of February. Wine, beer, and cocktails are also available to-go.
