Megan Butz Legacy of Hope – Marketing Assistance

Their mission is to strengthen the lives of at-risk youth and young adults so they may be mentally healthy and receive needed mental health programming and support. They offer support via programs that tackle tough issues like depression, anxiety, mental health and suicide.

Barrington White House – Programming Support

Barrington’s White House provides high-quality cultural, community, and educational events that support the economic vitality of our area. Each cultural season features events ranging from music, theatre, art, fashion and history, as well as robust discussions in the humanities, health, and economics,

Habitat for Humanity – Build Volunteer

Join their construction team as a volunteer at the new home build sites in McHenry County and Lake County. Make a lifelong impact in building homes for first-time homeowners in the community. No experience is required and tools are provided on-site. This is a good volunteer opportunity for individuals, students, families and company teams to get involved.

Also, The Barrington Hills Fall Festival returns Sunday, October 11, from Noon–4:00 PM at the Barrington Hills Park District Riding Center. The afternoon features live music, great food and beverages, family-friendly activities, fall décor, and plenty of community spirit.

Friendly volunteers still needed to help make the day run smoothly for before, during, and after the festival, including setup, event shifts, and cleanup.

Barrington Area Volunteer Connection (BAVC’s) goal is to bring all 100+ Barrington area nonprofits, churches and service organizations in a free & easy to use database so that volunteers can easily find opportunities.
