The Dog House of Barrington is hosting their third annual FREE CHARITY DOG WASH tomorrow, July 24th, from 10AM unit 3PM. There will be rescued pets available for adoption, a professional pet photographer on hand to take portraits of your pooch and proceeds from the requested $5 donation will benefit Animal House Shelter in Huntley, Illinois. The event even made the list of ten things to do this weekend at Crains Chicago Business.
The Charity Dog Wash is just one of the ways The Dog House of Barrington likes to pamper pets. They also offer special accommodations for for people who want to treat their pets to a little play time while they travel or work. Every night of the week, the owner of The Dog House of Barrington, Dylan Nelson, offers overnight doggie group sleepovers and he’s often the designated chaperone.
Nelson says he is loving life on Lageschulte. His three-year-old pet boarding and now grooming business is booming. If your dog needs a place to stay while you’re away, they have private pet accomodations for $25 a night. But the “group sleepover” option offers a more social setting. For $40 a night, your pet can snuggle up in a group and even share an air mattress and watch movies with Dog House owner, Dylan himself.
Dylan’s business offers doggie daycare, night care, training, spa packages and a brand new pet playground where your pooch can unleash his inner puppy.
The 8,000 square foot facility at 340 Lagaschulte provides plenty of space for Rover to roam. They even host regular doggie pool parties where dogs have a blast and shake it off before bedtime.
From pools to playgrounds, slumber parties to spa treatments, there’s a lot to bark about at The Dog House of Barrington.
