I love Barrington this time of year. The air is crisp, the breezes are cool and the changing leaves paint gorgeous fall rainbows at every turn. I snapped our new mystery photo on a walk this week when I paused at a popular place in town. Can you tell where I was? If you know where I took this picture, we have a great prize for the winner!
We’ll get to this week’s prize in a minute. But first, let’s talk about last week’s winner. Just moments ago my babysitter drew the winning name and it is…
Thanks for your guess and congratulations, Courtney. When Chicago Blackhawk, Patrick Sharp was in town visiting Kernel Fabyan’s Gourmet Popcorn Shoppe at Deer Park Town Center last night, he signed a commemorative Chicago Blackhawks tin of Kernel Fabyan’s popcorn just for you, Courtney! I’ll be emailing you this afternoon with details about how to receive your prize. Click HERE to view last week’s mystery photo and to see all of the guesses. It is, indeed, a picture of the top half of Patrick Sharp’s face from his official Chicago Blackhawks headshot. We’re so used to seeing him in his helmet, I think this mystery photo was a tough one. The line of people waiting to get his autograph literally wrapped around the building last night, but I hear Patrick Sharp couldn’t have been nicer to the guests at Kernel Fabyan’s.
This Week’s Prize
I’m so excited about our new prize for the winner of this week’s “Guess Where Wednesday” mystery photo contest. The Barrington Chamber of Commerce is generously offering our winner two tickets to the “Barrington Taste Fest & Expo” coming up at Millrose Restaurant in South Barrington next week, on Thursday, October 28th. The fest will feature food and drink from 30 Barrington area restaurants and breweries. If you’d like to purchase tickets, you can do that now by clicking HERE. The tickets are $40 each, so this is a great prize if you can guess where we took our photo this week.
