Calling all Barrington Foodies! Here’s a great way to jump start your weekend plans while getting to know some of the top chefs in Barrington. There’s a fun wine and food sampling event happening TOMORROW with an impressive list of guest chefs from area restaurants offering samples of some of their finest dishes.
The event is called Taste Takes Flight, the purpose is to support an important local cause and it’s all happening from 10AM until 3PM at The Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows.
The $50 ticket price includes six food samplings along with complimentary wine tastings. The event will benefit WINGS, which stands for Women in Need Growing Stronger. It’s an organization that provides emergency shelter, support and safety for women and children fleeing domestic violence. WINGS has a strong support base in Barrington and this event is a great way to help their mission.
