If you love searching for ideas to inspire your garden and one-of-a-kind treasures for your home, there’s one event in Barrington that you do not want to miss and it’s coming up this Friday and Saturday, June 15 & 16. Once a year, the owners of three outstanding Barrington estates open their properties to the public. Guests are invited to tour their remarkable gardens in a special 2-day event that helps poverty-stricken women and children in Sub-Saharan Africa.
It’s called the Barrington Country Garden & Antique Faire and it’s one of the coolest and most unique things to do in Barrington.
There are shuttle buses on the move during the entire 2-day event to transport you to the gardens for a little inspiration, antique shopping, lunch and leisure.
In addition to the garden tours, lunch and dessert will be served. Plus, there will be special presentations about healthy cooking, container gardening and ideas to plan your own garden party at home. Here are details about this year’s Faire and how to reserve your tickets…

All proceeds will fund projects like building wells and schools, providing loans for agricultural endeavors and making resources available to help women in Sub-Saharan Africa become economically self-sustaining.
