A beloved holiday tradition returns to Barrington this weekend. Dancers have spent many months preparing and final rehearsals are underway now for The Nutcracker, performed by the Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble.
Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble (BYDE) will present its 18th annual production of The Nutcracker on November 30 and December 1 & 2, 2012 at Barrington High School, 616 West Main Street. The production features exquisite costuming and staging, including a breathtaking snow scene.
The Nutcracker performance times and ticket prices are as follows…
Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m.
Saturday, December 1 at 2 p.m.
Saturday, December 1 at 7 p.m.
Sunday, December 2 at 2 p.m.
In addition to seeing the performances, there are two pre-show “Tea with Clara” events where you can enjoy holiday treats while meeting and taking photos with the characters. These events will start at 12:30 and precede the 2 p.m. matinees on both Saturday and Sunday.
Preferred seating $28.00 per ticket, Adult seating $25.00 per ticket, Seniors & Students $22.00 per ticket. Online purchases are for “Best Available” seating.
