Barrington’s 4th of July festivities will begin tomorrow with the 17th Annual Run for the Arts and race day registration is available. The 17th annual event benefiting the Barrington Cultural Commission features a 10K run through Barrington Hills, a 5K run/walk and a 2K walk through the streets of the Village of Barrington.
The entry fee is $33.00 and the event is sponsored by Advocate Good Shepherd Health & Fitness Center.
All races will step off at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from Park Ave and Main St in downtown Barrington.
Race awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races.
Awards will also be given to the top 3 male and females age-group finishers in the following categories:
14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. For race maps, click on the following links or cut/paste them into your browser: 10K
