For today’s NoonDaily Update, we have some exciting news to report about Barrington family practice physician, Dr. Reinhold Llerena’s move last week to a new and larger office space right across the parking lot from Heinen’s Fine Foods in the Shops at Flint Creek on Hough Street.
The Alexian Brothers Medical Group office moved to the new location from their former space which was in the same building as the drive-through Starbucks on Rte. 14.
Dr. Llerena says the new space is twice the size with better parking, better signage and greater visibility. “We now have eight exam rooms and are able to offer even more services within the office just because our site is bigger. We’ll also be leasing a couple of the exam rooms to various different sub-specialists who can come into the office, whether it’s psychiatry, weight management or educators who will be able to spend some of their time in the space.”
In addition to the larger office, Dr. Llerena says he’s very excited to announce that another physician has joined the group, bringing her own patients to the practice. Dr. Celeste Galizia has been practicing since 2000, she lives in the Barrington area and she says they chose the location because it’s more convenient for existing patients and others they hope to welcome to the practice. “Moving into the season with the cold weather coming, we feel that we can grow our practice and meet the needs of the people of Barrington.”
Dr. Llerena says, in addition to their regular weekday hours, the office will be open at least three Saturdays a month and they will have have same day appointments available. “Our office is a certified Patient Centered Medical Home and is part of the Alexian Brothers Accountable Care Organization (for which I serve as Medical Director). These are endeavors established to provide the best overall patient experience and maximize our ability to provide the finest care. Our ultimate goal is to treat patients of newborn to geriatric ages with a mindset that the patient is part of our family.”
