For today’s NoonDaily Update, we’re taking a closer look at the stories inside this week’s Barrington Life newspaper, which arrives in all 60010 mailboxes today. The mailman just delivered our copy a few minutes ago and I absolutely LOVE the two page photo display inside of images taken at this year’s Barrington Homecoming Parade!

Here is a snapshot of some of the top stories you’ll find in this week’s paper, according to Barrington Life editor, Dan McCaleb…

An extra-special homecoming
Just in case a town parade and packed football game was not enough excitement for Barrington, the 220 Educational Foundation really outdid itself by inviting New York Times best-selling “Divergent” author and BHS alumna, Veronica Roth, to come speak over two days of hometown appearances. Barrington Life has all the homecoming coverage and a front-row seat to Roth’s public interview.

Kids helping kids
Ian Fournie has found two things he enjoys – running races and helping others. Read Barrington Life to learn how Fournie has developed Lake Barrington’s first-ever 5K Chili Dump Run to benefit a longtime friend and others with developmental and physical disabilities.

It’s time to break ground
A grand groundbreaking ceremony at the Advocate Good Shepherd hospital campus in Barrington marked the beginning of an open community campaign – with some elegant entertainment, of course. Learn how the hospital has already gained $18 million in donations for its biggest renovation in its 34-year history and see what this expansion will look like in this week’s Barrington Life.

Get juiced
Barrington Life has been following Pure Organic Juicery through its construction process and is excited to announce its grand opening. What will this unique restaurant bring to the area? A big glass of health with a side of convenience. Get your copy of Barrington Life for a behind-the-scenes peek as Pure Organic readies to open in downtown Barrington.

You’ll find these stories and much more in this week’s paper!
