Fueled by a bit of spring fever (all it takes is a little sunshine), we recently headed over to Deer Park Town Center to check out the newest spring trends. At Avalon, we learned about the hottest hair, makeup and nail looks – ooh la la! Then, just a couple of doors down, Everything But Water shared their advice on the latest swimwear fashions – so colorful and fun. Bevello showed us how to update our wardrobes with the latest styles, and Pandora taught us how to accessorize beautifully.

Now we want to share it all with you, so we can all prepare to be fabulous – from head to toe – the MOMENT warmer weather arrives!

At Avalon Salon and Day Spa, an Aveda lifestyle salon, owner Bonnie Conte gave us a sneak peek at Aveda’s spring looks. “The spring/summer 2014 collection is called Culture Clash, and it features some beautiful, wearable colors and cuts,” Bonnie says. Celtic Red, Bali Bronze, and Icelandic Blonde are the colors of the moment, and they’re absolutely stunning.

Erin Wagner, Avalon’s color coach, fell hard for the Celtic Red – so she agreed to try the 99% natural process just for this 365 photo shoot!  Kim Pakaski, an Avalon master stylist, applied the color. “This color has great depth and dimension, with the red overtones and violet undertones,” Kim says. “It’s not just one flat color.”

We think Erin looks amazing – don’t you agree? Now all she needs to complete her look is a manicure featuring one of OPI’s polishes from the spring 2014 Brazil collection, and she’ll be on-trend and ready to shop.

Avalon’s looks pair perfectly with the trend toward tribal prints with textural beading which are huge this season at Bevello, also at Deer Park Town Center.

Rebecca Nelson, manager of Bevello’s Deer Park Town Center store, has beautiful pieces in store for spring–and endless great ideas on how to wear them.  “We have women’s clothes, accessories, and shoes–we’re a one stop shop,” Rebecca says. “We receive new shipments twice a week, so our inventory changes often.”

Rebecca was game to model some of Bevello’s best looks for spring (doesn’t she look great?). She says the focus this season is on pastels, mixing and matching patterns and prints, and graphic black and white.

“Soft pastels are a must for spring, and mint, turquoise and coral are also really big.” The Ella Moss tank ($128) and Hudson Beth Baby Boot jean ($165) are the perfect way to wear the pastel trend–so soft and pretty.

Cobalt blue was in for fall and winter, and it’s staying for spring. One of Rebecca’s faves is the Greylin dress ($124) that pairs cobalt with mixed patterns that have a tribal feel.

“Black and white are always in, but you can update them by adding a pop of cobalt, or mixing patterns,” Rebecca says. For this shoot, she mixed a Blossom floral scarf ($36) with a THML black-and-white striped dress ($62) – it looks so crisp and fresh.

And don’t forget the finishing touches: Pandora’s gorgeous spring collection, inspired by the Love Takes Flight pendant, features pinks, pastels, and butterflies–the perfect complement to spring clothing trends. Store manager Marylou Campbell previewed the line – introduced just this week – and says it’s truly her favorite collection yet.

You can personalize your look by choosing a bracelet ($40 and up) and customizing it with charms ($20 and up) to show your signature style. Then add earrings with interchangeable charms that fit your mood. We love the Essence collection, in which each charm has an attribute like Energy, Joy, or Positivity. What a great way to look toward a season of growth!

Haley Scott, Pandora’s In-Store Visual Merchandiser, loves Pandora’s Ring Upon Ring collection. “Many of our rings ($25 and up) are stackable, so you can mix different materials and stones.” Haley loves that Pandora offers “affordable luxury. When you get a bracelet, you don’t have to fill it up all at once. You can build on it over time–it’s more meaningful that way.”

Barb Kelsey, Pandora Design Stylist, helps many husbands who love the ease of giving Pandora to the women in their lives. “They love knowing that they can come here and find something she’ll appreciate and cherish.”
