Countryside Elementary students will again show just how much they care about local causes when they host their 4th annual “Countryside Cares” 5K/1 Mile Run Run coming up on Friday, May 2nd, at 4 p.m. This year’s beneficiary will be GiGi’s Playhouse, which provides educational and therapeutic programs for children with Down syndrome.
The race activities will take place at Countryside School, 205 W. County Line Road in Barrington Hills. Awards for top 5K runners in the adult and student divisions, male and female categories and top student finishers in the 1 Mile Fun Run. Come enjoy music and concessions while you cheer on this year’s competitors!
