Time is running out to secure a 30% tuition discount for the summer language immersion programs at Language Stars in Barrington! They’re currently offering that discount for anyone interested in enrolling students to start the summer session early by enrolling this spring. To secure that discount, you have to sign up this week because the promotion only runs through this Saturday, May 24th.
Language Stars’ summer programs include week-long language “Immersion Camps” plus “Immersion Classes” which run from June 16th through August 24th. Some of their sessions for students from age three to eight are “Outdoor Camps” where the classes take place outside at either Citizens or Langendorf Parks!
Language Stars offers Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin and German language classes for children from ages one through ten and their 15th Anniversary Summer Celebration will last throughout the season.
The director of Language Stars’ in Barrington, Jamie LaTendresse says enrolling in their summer programs is a great way to boost summer language learning and enhance retention. “Our summer language programs really maximize students’ language exposure. They’ll be getting that foundation throughout the summer and will be that much more advanced when they return to school in the fall.”
She also says students enrolled in the “Outdoor Camps” will benefit from the outdoor learning environment. “Because the classes are outside, the students are more active. They’re playing tag and having fun with water balloons or relay races, while learning language through outdoor experiences like hearing an ambulance or a train go by or seeing birds or dogs.”
Jill Weisheit has been bringing her children to Language Stars for six years, starting when her oldest son Evan was only six-months old. She says Language Stars’ summer programs have played a major role in her kids’ language learning.
“Just like with school, you need to keep up with language along with reading and writing through the summer because you don’t want your kids to have to start all over again in the fall once school is back in session. It’s important for us to maintain our Language Stars routine year-round. You can really see the students learning in leaps and bounds through the summer and our kids absolutely love it!”
