The weather forecast looks AH-mazing for this weekend’s fourth annual Barrington Art Festival. Blue skies and sunshine always make outdoor art shopping more fun and Barrington merchants look forward to welcoming all art fest guests this weekend.
Barrington’s Art Fest is Amdur Productions’ first art fest of the season each year. The hours for this weekend’s Barrington fest are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 24th and Sunday, May 25th. You’ll find the fest right in the heart of downtown Barrington on Cook Street, just south of Main (Lake Cook Road) and there’s always plenty of parking on surrounding streets.
The fest is FREE, open to the public and will feature the work of 120 juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, photography, watercolors, wood, and more.
In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase at the festival, guests will be able to enjoy live music throughout the weekend, a beer garden outside of McGonigal’s Pub, a wine garden at Cook Street Plaza hosted by Francesca’s, epicurean delights and children’s activities. Bring your friends and your family to mingle with artists as you soak up the sunshine!
