Barrington’s 4th of July Parade 2014 was packed with participants and curb-side spectators up and down Main Street and we’ve been busy editing our collection of video and photos from this year’s festivities. Reporter James Owen and filmer Tommy Derken had a blast talking to people along the parade route to bring you their latest video report for 365BarringtonTV!

Our camera crew captured many of the community’s colorful floats and all the excitement on camera and say the energy on parade day was absolutely electric.

And we’d like to congratulate the Girl Scouts in Barrington for winning the Village President’s Choice Award for the parade!!! Troop leader Erin Shechtman says the scouts built their float in a Village of Barrington back yard, made with recyclable materials and GIRL POWER!
