It was a beautiful evening for Barrington’s 4th of July fireworks Friday night, a tradition that dates back thirty years in Barrington. Thanks to 365BarringtonTV reporter James Owen, this year we’re bringing you a behind-the-scenes look at Barrington’s display with a video report from the fireworks staging area in Barrington Hills.
James interviewed the pyrotechnics in charge of setting up Barrington’s display that draws thousands to the front lawn of Barrington High School every year for our community’s very own fireworks.
Barrington’s fireworks tradition dates back to 1984, when the 4th of July Fest committee incorporated and started hosting what is now called the “Brat Tent” festival to fund the fireworks every year. This year’s fireworks were presented by Barrington Bank & Trust.
