All are invited to Fred Fest, Cuba Township’s second annual day-long music festival on Sunday, August 17th, at the Fox River Preserve and Marina in Port Barrington. Tickets cost $20 for what’s being billed as “The Barrington Area’s Own Lollapalooza”.

Celebrity chef to the stars Jaime Laurita will again be Master of Ceremonies and here’s the lineup of bands for the big event:
11 a.m. to 12:15 – Hudson McCoy: The Band
12:30 to 1:15 – Sons of Bildor
1:15 to 2 p.m. – Pat McKillen
2:30 to 4 p.m. – Dr. Bombay
4:30 to 6 p.m. – Rod Tuffcurls
6:30 to 8 p.m. – Sixteen Candles
Organizers say Fred Fest will be bigger and better than last year with specialty food trucks, a wine and beer tent and live music from dawn until dusk. The fest goes on, rain or shine and admission costs $20 in advance or at the gate. All Proceeds Benefit the Preservation Foundation of the Lake County Forest Preserves.
