Here’s a great way to clear out your closets and make space for the season’s winter coats while helping neighbors in need! The Broncos Care Coat & Toy Drive is happening during Friday’s BHS varsity home football game against Palatine High School. Look for the Broncos Care crew at the game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. this Friday, October 17th.

Barrington football players and volunteers will be collecting new and gently used winter coats for children and adults plus new and gently used toys to support this year’s Barrington Giving Day.
All items collected by Broncos Care will be distributed to families living in School District 220 through Barrington Giving Day with the help of hundreds of volunteers this holiday season.
Each December Barrington Giving Day invites families who are on the Free & Reduced Lunch program in Barrington School District 220 to a Giving Day. Here they receive boxes of food, warm coats, blankets, books, and gifts. Members of Barrington churches, schools, businesses and civic organizations are always generous in their support of this day. In 2013 Barrington Giving Day served 1,000 families. This included 3,000 children and senior citizens.
