It’s that time of year again! The merchants in downtown Barrington are planning their annual Spring Wine Walk to kick off the summer shopping season and all are welcome! The wine walk will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16th. Over twenty shops and ten restaurants & wine merchants are participating. They’ll be offering free wine tastings and other tasty treats as you shop, sip and stroll through town. 
Barrington’s Spring Wine Walk Wine Walk is a wonderful opportunity for all to experience the shops and restaurants in the Village center, the Shops on Lageschulte, Barrington Commons, North Cook Street and the Ice House Mall.
Customers can begin the Wine Walk at any participating business by picking up a location map for the tasting. The participating stores are:

Merchants look forward to showcasing the unique gifts and specialty items that make their stores distinctive. Plan to spend the day walking around town, sipping samples of wine, socializing with friends, finding that unique one of a kind gift, and then settling in for a wonderful dinner on one of the fine restaurants in Barrington.
Anne Garrette, event and marketing coordinator for the Village of Barrington commented that “This is the fourth year the Village has hosted wine walks, and the merchants are delighted to use this event to bring in shoppers from throughout the area to see everything Barrington has to offer”. The wines for Saturday’s event are being provided by Heinen’s Fine Foods, Garfield’s Beverage Warehouse, Cooper’s, The Annex, McGonigal’s Pub, Grassroots, Ciao Baby, Jewel, Vintage Wine & Spirits and Vin Chicago.
