Now that Spring Break 2016 is one for the history books and the kids are finally all back at school, I’m ready for, well, a BREAK from the kids! Ten Friends Blow Dry & Style House is helping us all “breathe in, blow out” by offering three awesome prizes in our 6th annual SPRING BREAK PHOTO CONTEST for one last chance to reminisce about the spring vacation that was.
For a chance to win complimentary blowouts and nourishing hair treatments from Ten Friends, simply share a photo that answers the question, “What did Spring Break 2016 look like to you?” Whether you hit the slopes, the beach or your own backyard, you have through Sunday, April 3rd to submit your photo. I’ll kick things off with a photo of our family’s Chicagoland STAYcation. Aside from a three day trip to the Windy City, we stayed home for most of the break. We hit the Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park, the top of the John Hancock building and brought our kids to the Art Institute for the first time. Best part about the Art Institute was the Van Gogh’s Bedrooms exhibit. (Definitely worth a visit.) Worst part? How many times our kids were busted for trying to touch the artwork. I also forgot how many nude paintings we’d encounter. (At least we know the kids were paying attention!)
