It’s been said that discomfort is the seed of change. If so, then I hope there will be gardens blooming in 2018 after the year that was.
Without going back to the beginning, just the past few months were completely chaotic for our family. We moved to a new home, rented our home, helped a parent move and welcomed our first puppy in the midst of the holidays. Just as we put a wrap on Christmas, the pipes burst and man is it cold outside! Not sure when we’ll find that comfort zone again but The Times They Are A Changin’.
So I’m happy for a fresh start this new year. My solitary resolution for 2018 is to simplify and create space to spend time more wisely. Whether it’s reading, running, cooking, writing or connecting without help from a computer screen, it all starts with a more intentional use of time, right? Familiar advice, I know, just not always so easily put into practice. I’m going to try. If I find any tips or tricks along the way, I’ll fill you in.
We’re starting off with a new day-one of 365 this January first and inviting you to join us this year.
