Barrington Park District to Host First Cardboard Boat Regatta

Bring the family together for an evening of cardboard boat races at the Barrington Park District’s first Cardboard Boat Regatta from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. June 26th!

Families will build their own seaworthy boat out of cardboard and duct tape, provided by the Park District. Supplies for decorating your boat will also be available. Each team will need to bring their own paddles. Please do not bring any additional supplies. Only supplies provided by the Park District will be allowed. Awards ceremony will follow the races.

All team members must be in the same household, with at least one adult 18 years or older. Food available for sale at the concession stand and the cost to register is $45.
