The 2019 holiday season is in full swing at The Arboretum of South Barrington after their annual holiday festival, tree lighting and ice rink opening this weekend.

Wickstrom Lincoln Ice Rink at The Arb
Lace’em up and let’s hit the rink! Ice skating at The Arboretum of South Barrington sponsored by Wickstrom Lincoln officially kicks off on November 9th and will run through January 20th! Join them for a season of thrills and occasional spills with plenty of events for the whole family to enjoy! The Arb’s ice rink is located behind Ruth’s Chris and next to Potbelly and Mago Grill & Cantina.
The price of admission is $12 with skate rental, $8 without skate rental and $8 for children under age 3. The ice rink phone number is 936-320-5088

- Monday – Thursdays: 4 pm – 9 pm
- Fridays: 4 pm – 10 pm
- Saturdays: 11 am – 10 pm
- Sundays: 11 am – 8 pm
- School Break Weekdays: 11 am – 10 pm

Also on Black Friday, be sure to visit The Arboretum Management Office. The first 25 people who pop by the office will receive a gift card to Calibre Coffee and a gift card to Potbelly to use while they shop on Black Friday! Recipients will also get coupons and goodies from our retailers and restaurants. Black Friday is November 29th. The Arboretum management Office opens at 10 a.m. Be sure to shop early because The Arb’s Gift with Purchase is only available while supplies last!
Santa at The Arboretum of South Barrington
Santa at The Arb starts November 30th! We know you have been on Santa’s nice list, so come on down to The Arb and let Santa know what’s on your wish list this year! The Santa house this year is located in The Arb’s Live 360 Community room between Georgio’s Pizzeria & Cooper’s Hawk. Visits with Santa are free. Santa photo packages will be available for purchase at the event.

Santa House is sponsored by Crème de la Crème, an Early learning Center of excellence providing care for children 6 weeks old to 12 years old for over 30 years.
Soothing Santa | Sundays, December 1 & December 8
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Live 360º Community Room
This soothing and sensory-friendly event allows children with all spectrums of special needs and their families to experience a time-honored tradition with Santa in a comforting environment outside the center’s public hours. These special visits with Santa are free.

Pet Photos with Santa | Fridays, December 12 – 20
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Bring your furry family members to take photos with Santa during this purrr-fect evening just for your four-legged friends. Festive, holiday-themed pet costumes are encouraged but not required.
Story Time with Santa | Saturday, December 14
Time: 10 a.m.
Come out to enjoy a free story time morning with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Enjoy holiday stories, cookies and a meet & greet with Santa!
Pizza with Santa at Georgio’s Pizzeria & Pub
Have pizza with Santa while supporting Let It Be Us, an organization changing the landscape of foster care and adoption in Illinois. Time slots available at 11 am, 4:30 pm & 6 pm. This RSVP only event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd.
RSVP by calling The Management office at (847) 426.6200*. Event cost is $7 per child and $7 per adult-MAX 2 ADULTS ALLOWED PER CHILD. CASH ONLY payment due at event check-in.
