[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_text_separator title=”Welcome to This Day in Barrington History” title_align=”separator_align_left”][vc_column_text]Welcome to January 18th and Day 18 of 365 in Barrington, Illinois! You’ll find our stories of the day – past, present & future (events) – right here on today’s DailyPage.
Because every day has its own rhythm, we’re sharing a song of the day here at 365Barrington.com.
On this day, January 18th in 1989, Stevie Wonder became the youngest living person to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at just 38 years old. Did you know Stevie Wonder played a role in making Martin Luther King Junior Day a national holiday? It all started when Dr. King’s assassination sparked a wave of activism that Wonder put his career on hold to join after attending MLK’s funeral in 1968.
