We are beyond proud to celebrate one of our incredible employees, Recreation Supervisor Nicole, who has shown what true perseverance looks like! 💪
After facing a serious injury during her training for the Chicago Marathon, one that would have caused many to give up, she refused to quit. Through hard work, courage and an unbreakable spirit, she not only regained her strength - but went on run AND finish the Chicago Marathon! 🏃♀️🏅
Her journey reminds us all that no obstacle is too great when you have heart, determination, and belief in yourself. She embodies everything we value at Barrington Park District- resilience, positivity and the drive to keep moving forward.
Please join us in congratulating her on this amazing accomplishment! 👏❤️
