Mike says he’s been working hard to keep his beer brewing crew in good spirits this past year. They’ve cooked up a special Valentine’s Day menu to celebrate and are ready to keep the beer flowing all weekend long. Now that Illinois has relaxed some of its Covid-19 restrictions, The Wild Onion is happy to be safely easing back to business as ‘almost’ usual and they couldn’t be more excited to welcome us back through their doors. They’ve been busy preparing their handcrafted chocolate dipped strawberries as just one course from their special Valentine’s Day Weekend Menu that offers a taste of just about everything your beer-lover’s heart desires! This guy is a true craft beer pioneer….brewing his first batch of Paddy Pale Ale in his parent’s garage in 1995. 🤯 Twenty-six years later, he’s still making sure the beer is flowing so no one goes thirsty. Mostly, he’s fixing moving parts, because, in their words, “Sh*t’s always breaking down in a brewery.” Let’s give it up for this beer visionary, engineer & mechanic, who is always willing to roll up his sleeves to get the job done (as long as there’s a cold one waiting for him at the end of the day).
