Don’t let the day go by without checking out the Annual Barrington Boy Scouts Perennial Plant Sale. They’re raising money for Troop 10 programs like summer camps to earn their Merit Badges and an upcoming exchange trip to Scotland. The money raised will also pay for supplies for the year and they could really use our help.
The sale ends at 3PM today, but it’s easy to find the troop…
They’ve set up their plants under tents at the corner of Hough and James Streets, right next to the EJ & E train tracks. The last day of their sale is today, Sunday, May 1st and they’re open for business from 9AM until 3PM. They’re competitively priced, too. Their prices have held for the sixth year in a row. The 11-year-old scouts I met this weekend say they’re happy point out the plants that are their hottest sellers. So great prices, plus helping hands make this a must-stop plant shop for your Sunday afternoon!
