If you know someone with serious style or a sparkling smile that lights up any room, talent scouts will be at the Ice House Mall in Barrington this weekend for the 3rd annual Sunburst Model Search and Baby Contest. The show will be this Saturday, March 24th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is FREE to attend.
The age groups represented in this contest range from infants to adults up to 27 years old and the baby pageant is open to both boys and girls. Every contestant in the baby pageant will receive a crown and trophy for their hard work and beautiful smiles, so everyone’s a winner! Do you think your child has what it takes to rise above the rest?
Hurry up, because interested contestants must turn in their entry forms before 11 a.m. this Saturday, with a preliminary round fee of $45. Entry forms can be picked up at any Ice House Mall store.
Here’s how they organize the age groups for the contest:
Baby Pageant
Baby – infants under 1 year
Tiny – 1 year
Little – 2 to 3 years
Model Search
Pee Wee – 4 to 6 years
Little Miss – 7 to 10 years
Pre-Teen – 11 to 13 years
Teen – 14 to 17 years
Miss/Mrs. – 18 to 27 years
A King, Queen and six runners-up will be chosen from each age division. The contestants will receive crowns, trophies and an entry fee paid to state finals in May! Contestants will be judged on poise, projection and appearance. Model Search contestants are to wear short or long dresses, but no sundresses.
