One of my favorite things to see on Mother’s Day are the hundreds of runners cruising past our home in the annual Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk in the Village of Barrington.
It’s a tradition for many local families and a great way to celebrate Mom’s special day running on the streets of Barrington.
You can run or walk the 5k and bring the kids for the free 100 meter kid’s dash. At the same time, you’ll be helping a cause that hits close to home for many on Mother’s Day. Race proceeds will benefit The Gateway For Cancer Research.
The cost is $34 per person to participate if you sign up in advance, on or before Saturday, May 10th, at 6 p.m. The cost of day-of registration and packet pickup is $40. To register online, CLICK HERE.
