Barrington Blackhawks fans were out in force last night and we knew just where to find them! We couldn’t help but return to the place where we watched the Hawks win the 2010 Stanley Cup and found a spot at Wool Street Grill & Sports Bar, hoping we’d see the Blackhawks make history, yet again.
The Hawks (and Wool Street) did not disappoint and we were snapping and filming every second to share this huge crowd’s reaction as the Hawks took home the Stanley Cup, for the second time in the past four years. Here’s our video coverage as the crowd at Wool Streets celebrates the Blackhawk’s latest Stanley Cup victory.
The fans at Wool Street were tense when the Blackhawks were down, two-to-one, with about a minute-and-a-half left in game six of this championship series against the Boston Bruins.
Just as fans said they thought the Hawks would be headed to game seven, the crowd went wild when the team scored two goals within 17 seconds, bringing home the Stanley Cup yet again.
