•  Cancer hits home for Barrington baseball team — Big Red team wears pink. It’s not often that a group of 11-year-old boys are excited to wear pink, but this team feels strongly about the decision.  Barrington Life spoke with a Lake Barrington resident who was diagnosed in a cancerous brain tumor last Fall to understand how her son’s travel baseball team and teammates have been her support system.

•  New Barrington Bites — Restaurants fill stomachs and business vacancies.  Barrington Life has been in touch with two new restaurants opening their doors to the Barrington community this summer, each with unique menu items and a social atmosphere.  Read this week’s edition to learn more about these new lunch/dinner stops and the vacant business spaces that have been filled.
