The National Pink Heals Firetruck Tour is planning pit stops in Barrington this Sunday, August 4th! This group of macho firemen is man enough to wear pink as they roll into town on pink firetrucks in support of women with cancer.

The Pink Firetrucks brigade will be stopping at TWO LOCATIONS in Barrington before taking their tour back on the road.

The Pink Firetrucks tour travels across the country, making stops for visitors to sign their trucks in support and remembrance of women they love who have faced or are fighting cancer.

The group’s first stop on Sunday will be at the Barrington Fire Station (400 N. Northwest Highway) from 11 a.m. to 12:30.

Then, they’ll head over to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital (450 West Highway 22) to visit with guests near their pink firetrucks from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Main Hospital Parking lot.
Activities at Good Shepherd Hospital Include:
1. Signing the pink fire trucks that have traveled across the country
2. Taking pictures with the truck and the firefighters
3. Enjoy pink refreshments
4. Giveaways, patient information and more!
The Pink Heals Firetruck Tour and movement began in 2007, founded by Dave Graybill, a former pro athlete, retired firefighter and philanthropist to help people battling cancer with a focus on women and what they mean to us in our daily life.
“These men honor those who can no longer fight, stand with those who can fight and inspire those who watch.”

The warmest bunch of burly men I have ever met in my life. Caring, compassionate, and they give the best hugs!
