We have an awesome new event to tell you about for today’s NoonDaily Update! For the first time ever, the Barrington Park District is hosting a “Mom”Ster Bash Halloween dance that’s just for mothers and sons. Because they host a daddy/daughter dance every year, the park district decided to create this event where you come in costume for a special night out with your little boy or boys.
So “Mom”sters, grab your goblins for a fantastic evening filled with dinner (fingers, bloody bones, eye popping salad and apple cider brew), games, Halloween dances and contests.
The duo/trio with the most original and coordinating Halloween costume (like Woody & Jessie) wins a prize (please no weapons or gore). Each couple will receive a professional photograph as a keepsake of your spooktacular night together.
The event is for moms, grandmas, etc with boys between 3 and 12 years old. The cost is $50 per in-district couple and $60 for couples from outside the district and you can bring an additional son for $27 (in district) or $32 (out of district). The “Mom”Ster Bash is happening this Friday, October 11th, between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. in Barrington Rooms A & B at the Barrington Park District Fitness and Recreation Center, 235 Lions Parkway in Barrington.
To register, call the park district at 847-381-0687 and get ready to jump on your broomstick and fly on over for a ghostly night just for “Mom”sters and sons. For more information about upcoming Park District events, visit BarringtonParkDistrict.org.
