House of Hope Resale is hosting its annual Holiday Premiere this week for shoppers looking for fabulous items to give as gifts or decorate your own home for the holidays. The annual shopping event started Wednesday and runs through this Saturday, November 9th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hundreds of volunteer elves have transformed the store into a winter wonderland inside the Market Center Shops at 200 N. Hough Street. You can shop for pre-lit trees, holiday decor, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, entertaining essentials, a magical toyland and so much more!
It’s a great way to kick off the holiday shopping season, find unique gifts for everyone on your list, save a bundle and double the joy of the season. Every purchase helps local families in crisis through St. Anne’s Project Hope.
The event, now in its 8th year, provides an important funding boost during a time when calls for emergency assistance are on the rise. Project Hope was founded by Sr. Lorraine Menheer in 1986 to provide short-term, emergency assistance to area families in crisis. It is the single largest community outreach program of its kind in the Northwest Suburbs.
Elves will be working around the clock during the event to stock the shelves with new arrivals daily. Refreshments and music will add to the festivities.
House of Hope was founded in 2001 to support the Project Hope Ministry. Today, the popular Barrington resale shop offers six huge rooms of furniture, antiques, collectibles, clothing, décor, housewares, art, toys, books, jewelry and more. They also feature new arrivals every week and welcome all tax-deductible donations with great appreciation.
