We’ve had fun collecting your images for our 365Barrington 4th of July 2014 Community Photo Album! Not only did readers submit images of photos taken from their own personal cameras, they shared tips for favorite places to set up along the parade route for the best parade watching experience!

All readers who submit photos by the end of this weekend will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Heinen’s Grocery gift card. (CLICK HERE to enter contest.) Heinen’s associates continued their annual tradition of marching with shopping carts to collect donations alongside the parade’s Food Drive Float. All food donations will go to the Barrington and Cuba Township food pantries.

We’ll draw, announce and contact our winner on Monday. In the meantime, here are the photos and feedback from our readers for Barrington’s 2014 Fourth of July parade…

This was our 1st Barrington 4th of July parade and it will definitely become an annual tradition. We liked watching from early in the parade because there is so much excitement as it all gets going down Main Street.

Denise Tenyer
Favorite Parade Watching Spot: I don’t watch. LOL. I am part of the committee and march in the parade with the Food Drive!
Photo Caption: Why this photo? Because these great individuals from Corporate Identity brought out a huge box of food donations and put it in our Food Drive truck. They told me that they encouraged (and required) anyone sitting in front with them to be a part of the Food Drive and donate some food! What a great way to help!!! They deserve to be recognized for this wonderful gesture!
