A posse of firefighters suited in pink rolled into Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital on pink firetrucks Wednesday, the latest stop in their “Pink Heals” tour, bringing truckloads of support and love to cancer survivors here in Barrington.

Guests signed pink firetrucks in the hospital’s parking lot as the firefighters or “Guardians of the Pink Ribbon” worked hard to spread awareness about the importance of supporting all women in their fight against cancer.

365BarringtonTV reporter James Owen talked with one of the men in pink to learn more about their message and their mission.
Founded in 2007, the Pink Heals organization helps individuals and families battling cancer by focusing on women and what they mean to us in our daily lives!
