It’s day one of 2015 and we reached our goal, for the fourth year, of writing about 365 things to do, places to go and people to meet in Barrington. That’s nearly 1,500 posts about this great community we have in common!
So we’re starting this thing all over again with post numero uno for 2015 and this one has a familiar ring. Just like last year when we wrote about the first baby born at Good Shepherd Hospital on Jan 1, 2014, we’re kicking things off with news of the first baby born at Good Shepherd in 2015. We’re celebrating this new baby and fresh starts all around this January 1st at 365Barrington.com. Happy New Year and welcome to the world, baby Maximus!
The staff of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital didn’t have to wait long on New Year’s Day to meet the hospital’s first baby of 2015. Proud parents Nick and Megan Maise welcomed a baby boy, Maximus Edward Maise, weighing 8 pounds into the world at 12:01 am on Jan. 1.
The staff at Good Shepherd Hospital couldn’t be more excited since the mother works at the hospital and is a nurse in the Labor and Delivery department.
The delivering physician was obstetrician Randy Zimmerman, MD.
