As Barrington’s Broncos head into this weekend’s Homecoming matchup against Conant, the varsity team is being praised by head coach Joe Sanchez for their “outstanding effort” in maintaining a perfect record. The team defeated Shaumburg’s Saxons with a final score of 35 to 28 Friday, their fifth consecutive victory this season.

Meatheads announced this week that the varsity football’s “Bronco Legacy” burger won this year’s Burger Battle, selling more than the cheerleaders’ “High Flyer”. 10% of all Burger Battle sales during the month of September will be donated back to support participating athletic programs at BHS. Located at 500 N. Hough Street, Meatheads serves high quality burgers and chicken, fresh cut fries and beverages in a stylish and casual atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. Their annual Burger Battle is just one of many ways Meatheads strives to to give back to the Barrington community.
