On this day, January 25th in 1938, American blues & soul artist, Etta James was born. Etta had 9 US Top 40 hits during the 60s including At Last!, which, which is her debut studio album and included multiple classics like 1933 Torch Song, Stormy Weather. Released on Argo Records in November 1960, the album rose to no. 12 upon the Billboard Top Catalog Albums chart. James died on January 20, 2012.
