[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_text_separator title=”Welcome to This Day in Barrington History” title_align=”separator_align_left”][vc_column_text]Good morning and welcome to February 2nd, Day 33 of 365 in Barrington, Illinois! You’ll find our stories of the day – past, present & future (events) – right here on today’s DailyPage.
Because every day has its own rhythm, we’re sharing a song of the day here at 365Barrington.com.
On this day in 1942, British-American singer-songwriter Graham Nash was born. Known for his light tenor voice and for his songwriting contributions as a member of The Hollies and supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash, he is an American classic! Nash initially met both David Crosby and Stephen Stills in 1966 during a Hollies US tour. CSN scored the hit singles ‘Marrakesh Express’ (which had been rejected by the Hollies), ‘Our House’ and ‘Teach Your Children’. But because this is a month for valentines, we’re featuring one of our personal favorites for today’s 365Barrington Song of the Day, ‘Love the One You’re With’.

While there may be many interpretations, one of our favorite messages from this song is to never let a tough situation crush your spirit. We ❤️ it!
Stay tuned for our daily songs this month. We’ll be choosing some of our favorite LOVE SONGS leading up to Valentine’s Day!
