UnCork Barrington attendees are raving about the huge success of this year’s brand new VIP Tent featured at Friday’s 10th annual event. Volunteers poured top shelf wines and VIP ticketholders were treated to special appetizers for pairing courtesy of On Occasion Catering & Events.
UnCork Chair Doug Skor with the Barrington Village Association (BVA) says, thanks to Vin Chicago, guests walked away more informed about an excellent grouping of wines. “People that joined us and those who participated in the VIP tent were glowing. They particularly loved that Vin put their two top sommeliers in tent and these guys were definitely geniuses when it comes to wine. The bottom line is that, for year-one of the VIP tent, we spiked the ball really hard and already have some great ideas to expand upon it for next year.”
I have been involved with UnCork Barrington since the first annual event, as both a sponsor and a guest over the years. There’s no doubt this event simply gets better with age.
