Bastille Day at L'Eiffel Bistrot in South Barrington

It’s July 14th, Bastille Day, and a day to let your French flag fly. The French national holiday celebrates the storming of the Bastille prison on this date back in 1789 signaling the uprising of modern-day France. There’s a big party planned at L’Eiffel Bistrot in South Barrington today to celebrate the holiday with food, drinks, live music and a special menu.

L’Eiffel Bistrot at the Arboretum of South Barrington is offering a special Bastille Day three course menu for $36.50 during the dinner hours tonight. They’ll also be serving a $6 special drink from their Absinthe bar and a festive French martini for $7. There will be three live performances at the restaurant tonight.  They’ll feature an accordionist, a violinist and French Can-Can dancers performing on the patio during this evening’s festivities.  And there will be plenty of delicious crepes, appetizers and other traditional French entrées to choose from if you would prefer to order a la carte. I hear their roasted duck and Boeuf au Cognac are fantastic!
